Would be cool if we could get official confirmations of this and the live letter date for NA/EU folks.
Until that happens, the supposed source given could have been anyone's character. Just because the first name was Yoshi doesnt mean it was THE yoshi. We'll have to wait for official word.
Dang. I mean it isn't that far away from the mid may I was thinking anyways but, I want it now. Gimmie gimmie.
Hopefully the team isn't in crunch hell (there is of course a difference from "hard intense work" and "I live at the office and I can't remember my child's face").
We need Subligar King to raise a new champion lol.
Media tour also starts on the 16th according to Ethys and Larryzaur
It seems like they are. The Hrothgar, Crystarium, Eulmore, and what little they had to show for Eden(with Nomura saying that he didn't have any boss designs finalized in time) were barely finished in time according to Yoshida. Japanese work culture can be really terrible for people.
honestly i wouldnt mind waiting longer between patches/expansions if it meant the dev team had adequet time/resources. it seems like theyve been cutting it real fine with shb.
I really would like to see them push stuff back, I'd rather get the game a little later and with more polish than rush people into crunch time.
I doubt it's up to them. SE generally doesn't seem willing to reinvest much of what XIV brings in, and the result is a relatively small team on a shoestring budget with tight deadlines. There's a reason that Yoshida, by his own admission, has only been sleeping a maximum of 4 hours a night since he replaced Tanaka.
