Crossworld feedback - Linkshells and Communication

Heyo,
Just want to give a bit of feedback regarding the current system.

I feel like in-world linkshells are just drying up since people are bouncing around all over the place for hunts and to get marketboard pricing (since SE shut a certain tremendously useful website down).

Most of our community's conversation is moving more and more off FFXIV to Discord since if you use your one allocated crossworld linkshell for raid, there's no way to guarantee a non FC member will see your message in game.

I hope to see linkshells become either all crossworld or at least visible, especially while everyone is questing in 5.0. I'd like to be able to see chatter still in game.

I do realise now is supposed to be a "quiet" part of the expansion but quite honestly, there's a lot of people around doing the events and testing the world travelling.

I am hopeful that more integrated features will come with future patches. As FFXIV has aged we are only getting more and more cross server features. After they do some stress testing with the current feature set and gauge the launch experience I expect then to add and allow more features.

Aside from more convenient cross server chats (just make all LS cross world with 128 or more people if possible) a one-stop way to view all server MBs seems like really obvious QoLs to implement. Hopefully SE sees this as important enough.

The way they announced "you can jump servers to check prices!" like it was some kind of wonderful feature and not the massive pain in the butt that it is, makes me nervous. I assume they're eventually leaning towards a singular market but right now, with people jumping through hunts, I'm getting queues up to 40 people high. Just to check the price of a mat!

They need to get rid of homeworld linkshells entirely and replace them with 8 cross-world linkshells, with an increased cap to 128 and better features for reordering linkshells and managing inactives.
