I've been observing a friend camp 8hrs for a house for someone to come and relocate. He has now trying to get a house for 3d. Is SE's idea of fun gameplay that players camp all day to get a house?

Yup. It's not fun to wait hours and hours on end paying the mothly fee and wasting my time clicking plackard. that time could be used to raiding or something useful. I have standard 7-15 job amd i don't want to waste my freetime camping in houses. Worst of all is that anyone can relocate at any point. It's so unfair that the ones already having a house can get past the line like that. This needs to be fixed.
And people sell plots in shirogane and relocate to other areas filling the empty lots and keeping the timers always fresh.
I thought the data center split and demolition might fix some of the housing problems, but instead it just seems to have made it worse. Perhaps they need to go to some kind of lottery system to buy plots.
It would work if all would need to follow the timer. The ones having a house get a VIP pass and can skip the queue and timer.
NO! Put relocation on the same timer is just gonna make it worst. And I am just out of a camping with other ppl there for 3, 6 and some even 9h to loose a house to a relocator. And a relocator bent on causing grief over the 7~8 ppl that were there.
The relocators are not the problem. Toxic ppl are, but those will always be around. They have to find a better solution to this timer.
Honestly, change it to any other way. I would take the favoritism of a 3rd party over this garbage. This was the worst idea I have ever seen to fix a serious problem that has been a problem since the release of housing. I just hit yes to buy house and it was bought. I go look at am not the owner. Some bot beat me. Fix this problem Square Enix or you might lose a 15 year subscriber to your MMO franchise.
