Steps:
1. I used the Gyr Abanian hairstyle item. It disappeared from my inventory as expected.
2. I went to the inn room in the Drowning Wench and summoned the aesthetician to change to the new hairstyle. It was not listed.
3. I tried again several times at intervals. It was still not listed even after I had logged out and then back in again.

Update: I found the Modern Aethetics item. When I used it, apparently it failed and went back in my inventory, but in a different bag. Maybe because I was not on my home server when I did it? That's the only thing that occurs to me as being unusual. Either that or CS replaced it for me.
