Regarding House Reimbursement World Transfer

Since the announcement of the Data Center transfers. Me and my GF have been thinking about moving to Mateus from Siren. We have friends that play on Mateus. But one concern we have is we have a private estate (House). On Siren. I was reading up that players who transfer will have the full cost of the land plus an additional 3 million gil for lost furnishings compensated.

It also explained in order to get the reimbursement I can not relinquish the land but on the actual page talking about world transfers it says I need to relinquish. So my question is if I was to transfer from Siren to Mateus which will be on the new data center will I still be entitled to the compensation of the land plus lose of furnishing or is that bonus only available to those who switching from congested worlds?

You should be reimbursed for any property (apartment & personal house) owned by your character at the time of transfer. Normally you would have to destroy the house (but keep the land) before transferring, but for this free transfer it appears from what I've read, you can leave the house as is and just transfer. Collect any furniture you wish to keep as anything in the house and in the housing storage will be deleted. You do not need furniture in the house to receive the bonus payout.

DO NOT relinquish the land completely before you transfer. What you do need to do is demolish the estate hall so the plot has no building on it (but you still own it).

The bonus is available to all plot owners who transfer during the free transfer period.

So all in all. I should not have any issues with transferring as long as I can salvage some of my housing furniture. It should be good.
