What would you do?

If you really where your avatar and lived in the FFXIV world, what would you really do for skills/jobs and what would be your style/race?

Myself, I would remain a Miqo'te because kitty ears would be awesome, ride on a Fatter cat and be a traveling healer who fished for my meals and traded for Gil.

I would also make friends with Gaelicats and Moogles to make sure I don't have to fight them like the devs make us do! XP


In fact I would have a Gaelicat named "Mew" that would assist me in my travels. X3

Well, if I get to 'pick' what I'd become, I'd of course pick one of the Ishgardian noble houses, and never have to worry about the harsh reality of survival in a fantasy-medieval themed world. Or part of the Garlean aristocracy, for exactly the same reason.


If, however, I'm forced into the shoes of my current character... Man, being a highlander refugee would suck.

The first step would be to survive the horrid desert of thanalan, I guess. And then figure out how to get into the city proper, if I wanted a chance at a normal life. Otherwise, I might be forced to join the corpse brigade and live the rest of my life as a mercenary/outlaw.

My skills would be teaching my fellow Eorzeans how to dress. This all black head to toe craze has got to stop.

I'd become an authority of thaumaturgy and arcanima then use that power to hijack the sin eaters and unleash them upon the garlean empire on the source.

I'd be a miqo'te weaver with the daftest fluffiest tail. I will eschew my clan and move to Ishgard, where I'll also attempt to get all political and get the place fixed up, including an economic overhaul in favour of all citizens equally, plus sustenance, homes, jobs and general rehabilitation for all who need it. I'm employing my (Xaela) hubby as a personal tank (WAR, and his job is to glare at people if they make me sad); whilst my daughter (also miqo'te) is being taught how to incinerate things efficiently by her father.

But mostly, I'm making woven goods. Sort of what I do for a living anyways. XD
