Thok Ast Thok (Hard) Ravana needs to be nerfed

I'm sick of seeing this fight appear in my trial roulette and then taking 30 minutes + 30% echo to beat, it has too many points of failure for single-digit IQ dutyfinder knuckledraggers including:

• idiots can't grasp the shield mechanic over the course of 30 minutes
• tanks cleave the party, usually healers, with Rav basic attacks or his hadouken blast
• df literally can't kill the adds without several echo buffs, not uncommon to see 8 stacks of vuln in the first wipe
• people leave the fight never learning how to dodge slaughter, because it's poorly telegraphed honestly

Anyway, please fix this fight so it is worth doing considering the piddly amount of exp+tomes trial roulette awards.

There is nothing to be fixed. It's an old fight, people can and will forget mechanics. Even I go ??? when I forget where to stand when he does his arm charge thing. The fight could be Simon Says and people will find a way to futz it... oh wait.

I hate when people are like "it's not that hard" when I'm struggling with a thing, but honestly... it's not that hard.

Or you know you can explain the fight to make sure everyone's on the same page before the pull happens whenever you see that new player thing emerge in the chat box.

It doesn't need to be nerfed, all you need to do is explain it really quickly. This is how I do it for new people.
"He cleaves don't stand near the tank, attack his side without the circle, kill the adds. After the transition make sure a wall is always behind you."

Everything else should be common sense from that point in the game including markers and safe spots.

We can always stay silent and hope people can explain a fight, but I would say in your case especially considering how much you despise it, I would recommend making macros for it.

Yeah, this isnt even one of the annoying fights. Ill take this every day for a month if i never have to do crysalis again(slow, several phase breaks, and the point everyone fails is almost 10 mins in). Or see a group unable to keep up with the second half of pool of tribute(shaky healers? good luck). Or a party wipe to the same attack over and over in final steps(how hard is it to stack?). As for your specific complaints, you can always explain what people are doing wrong. Especially after a wipe, "Does anyone have any questions before we go again?" Someone repeatedly getting the shield knockback? "Attack the side without shield". Tank cleaving the party? My screen says youre a tank so thats on you - if the other tank doesnt know what hes doing dont let him have agro. Killing adds is rediculous - as a BLM i one shot spirit adds and can drop moon ones in 3ish hits without help. Do people forget the fight has adds? Quick call out when he starts to summon them, "dont forget adds". And if you did everything else right, not knowing where to stand for one attack(poorly telegraphed as it is) isnt a big deal.
