Not a bug, but requires attention (Having to choose character to register for forum)

I am joining these forums for another error, but this must be brought up.

As it is known you must have selected a 'character' before registering for the forum, a quick google search shows many people are caught out on this and for a good reason, it is not in any way at all easily understandable. You click on the character and click save but it says you still have not chosen a character.

Upon research i found you have to click the 'star' within the character banner, it does not indicate this anywhere, is in no way obvious and has caught a lot of people out and is frustrating as.

I'd suggest from a UI perspective to change this - or at a minimum, actually have text stating, to select your character click on the star, as even though you selected the character and it becomes highlighted without the star it does not register.

Caught me as well. I'd recommend a normal white [x] or check mark box like every other site in existence. Or a selection like on mogstation where there's a list and you select your character.
