I hope more information on them is released eventually. Their lore, culture, reason for joining the Eorzean races, stuff like that. I was honestly expecting them to at least be mentioned in this new patch given how both Au Ra and Viera were given some relevant backstory for their reveal and subsequent addition to the game.
I want them to be their own independent race instead of just 'not-Viera' =/
I know so many people who are excited about big burly cats and plan on changing to them the moment they drop. I can't wait to learn more about their lore and see them out and about or with me in dungeons. I'm gonna be disappointed if I don't see one burly cat man in some scanty dancer gear twirling my enemy to death within the first three hours.
I'm sure their stories are going to come soon. I hope we get to see all the different head types too. Hoping that the wolf head is gonna actually be there too.
We will no doubt get information on them at some point, and I'm sure, like with Viera, we will have a whole main story segment dedicated to them. After all, all we've really gotten with the Viera is what Fran has mentioned from the 24 man quests (optional stuff if you think about it compared to the story).
Time will tell, but I still welcome their addition to the cast of races.
