Doctor Healing Class
Honestly I don't Care what name it gets but, imagine a healer that heals with potions. Not just any potions like a class specific skill but the actual potions you accumulated through the game.
1. The class uses the mind stat to increase the amount of potency a potion has.
2. The class has a passive that reduces the potions cool down timer to a percentage amount so that stronger potions still take longer to cool down but are now viable as spells spamming.
3. Buff pots can now be used as buffs for different party members from the healer.
4. The class uses TP in skills instead of mp.
These are just a few ideas. Obviously need more flushed out but a new healer is needed and with the addition of a gun blade class, i feel this would be the perfect time to add a healer that had a none magical take on healing. There are plenty of different style of potions in the game that can translate into heals similar to cure, cure 2, and so on. Whether they are class specific skills or actually putting potions on the classes hotbar and making the effects just be different when used under this class.

I don't think any class should have to buy items to use in combat. What happens when you run out?
Chemist and similar classes/job are already in past FF games (and other SE ones), so they'd probably just take from that.

This has, in fact, been discussed at length, starting from before we even had one expansion. Usually under the name "Chemist". Anyways a few points:
1. TP is going away. So all classes will be MP based.
2. While I'm all for some sort of item-based healer... having actual ammo would not be fun. IMO, it should be kept as an aesthetic and not involved FF14's... rather bloated inventory system.

All valid points. I just saw it as a fun idea to take these items no one uses and make them actually seem relevant for a change. Maybe even just using the item's icons in the skills as a tribute to their lack of use otherwise.

Will it put the lime in the coconut and mix them both together?

i dont see why not. give a crit bonus to one party member.
