It really needs to be noted that being angry over expectations you created for yourself is not rational. This is objective truth.
You play and enjoy the game right now, and not having something added to the game that you wanted, and even expected, because you made an assumption it would be, changes literally nothing about the game you play and enjoy right now.

This is true, but there are those who believe that others should take care of their expectations and sometimes even babysit their feelings.
I don't get hyped about things or expect certain things. That way when things happen or don't, I don't get mad about it. I just take things as they come, looking forward to what is there rather than getting mad over what isn't.
I agree on your post OP. Last time I checked, I’m playing FFXIV not a video version of the NY Stock Exchange or NASDAQ. If a speculation didn’t come true or something, just move on, your setting yourself for disappointment and won’t be able to enjoy the new content that it’s coming. It’s up to you.
