Headgear won't show on Viera and Hrothgar save a few exceptions

First genderlock and now this? First a limited job and now limited races?

Saves devs time for sure xD

And here I thought lalas were the true limited race. At least they can gear up properly.

I mean if you put on a helmet and it covered the bunny ears you would look just like a Hyur and then what would even be the point...

I hate to use this world but... I think the "assumption" was that the helms would just have holes for the ears to stick through or maybe even just cover the back or front of the head.

You'd be able to see the graphics of an item you collected at the very least. With Viera and Hrothgar, they just don't show.

That would be nice if it worked like that, but that would mean they would have to go through every single piece of equipment in the game for the head and modify it for both races which now i'm assuming here is a ton of work. The other two options is letting the ears just clip through and probably looking horrible or doing what they've decided and just not showing it altogether.

For now. Reading through it sounds like they plan on addressing that later on, its just they were not able to get it ready in time for launch. Which I mean still sucks, but at least its not going to be forgotten *knocks on wood*

Not a surprise. It was to be expected that this would happen to some extent, considering how the heads are.

Yes it is quite reasonable to do that for now or later they mentioned at one point how many thousand items would be affected by some changes. It was quite a number.
