The Time Between Seconds
Who designed this quest? Who thought it was a good idea to keep spamming aoe and aoe and aoe?
I tried this on my monk and I can't do it. I've tried three times, I get to the phase where you need to bring him down to 95 % and I just can't do it. At some point there's aoe everywhere and I die.
I am shaking doing this quest and now I just don't wanna do it anymore, because I keep failing. I can only do it if they nerf it. Even my smn, a different character, needed several times to get it done.
If anyone has any advice on how to clear this as a monk, please share.

Someone posted a guide up about this quest.

I had a serious issue with that fight, then realized I was still wearing that i150 ninja gear that I was required to put on a few quests earlier.

Just, dodge the attacks, get your hits in while you can? Hit and run. He's not really all that dangerous otherwise, eh?

He does a lot of damage with aoe. I'm trying to get my hits in and I keep running and it's just not working. Also I should mention, I am from Eu and playing on a US server because my friends play on that one. So lag is also a bit of an issue.
I've seen the guide and I've been following that.

I don't remember that too well, but it looks like the giant aoe circles have some sort of a pattern dictated by the purple storm things that spawn around. You might get hit by one, try not to get hit by multiple. Use your gap closers on MNK for dodging the big conal aoe he does, if you find yourself out of position. Take potions for healing. Good luck!

Thanks. I've stocked up on potions because I need tons. I've decided to level a bit more first.

One extra bit of advice that i remember helped a friend with this fight(i havent watched the video, so if its already covered then ignore me). As i remember that fight, one move he does involves jumping back and doing a 6 or 8 line attack in all directions around him. So when he jumps back, taking an extra step or two away would give you more room to avoid the upcoming move(and potentially time to down a potion or use a heal like 2nd wind). You can always use a gap closer after the attack finishes to get back on offense.
