GM's have told me to post here as they cannot fix it.
I have completed rank 1 of the serpent guild rank, but the game still says I have not completed rank 1 and will not let me promote to sergeant 3rd class. I have completed rank 1. Please fix. Ty.
Do you have the requisite Grand Company Seals to complete your promotion?
You need to pay 5,000 Seals in addition to completing Rank 1 of your Grand Company Hunting Log to become a Sergeant 3rd Class.
Yes. I have 20k seals... is there anything else besides rank 1 of hunting journal I need to do?
Did you try to get promoted as crafter or gatherer?
I think it is only possible to get promoted if you are a battle class or job.
Are you sure it is rank 1 of the Grand Company Hunting Log you've done, and not one of the class logs? (when you open the hunting log, it defaults to the log of your current class)
It might be obviouss, but you' be surprised at how often people miss the simplest of details.
