How beast tribes could solve an old gear question.

I've put alot of time into this game and one thing that has always bothered me, well 2 things, is our equipment and how to keep older content relevent.

But far as story goes that can be tricky and one part of the story that gets glossed over is the beast tribes, you do a ton for these groups and they have tons of lore with them, if you did the HW arc for the dances it shows that you're pretty much their champion also but nothing ever comes from that, you just do your dailies until maxed out and forget about them. it's time to change that and also solve an equipment dilemma we've had for awhile.

my idea, so far a bit sketchy(i would never trust sylphs with weaponry) would use the beast tribes to give us a set of relic armor and weapon that would grow with an expansion, we will have more than enough tribes to cover the items, the main plan would be true to the grind of old, maybe add in the new tribes to replace some originals because they have annoying fate based quest, but we would be killing 2 birds with 1 stone, addding the beast tribes back and letting them help us in their own way and also being able to acquire weapons and armor without dungeon grinding, another eureka or having to be the best player possible for trials.

pretty much we'd have a separate questline that would have you go to each tribe once a day and do a special task for them, when you reach a quota theyll take your gear and upgrade it, slightly changing it, the idea in my head is that it starts basic but tby the end you're a brilliant beacon of fashion, it sounds like alot and would be but at least for me i'd rather do that then go in eureka ever again.

i'm not sure where the gear would slot ilvl wise but i would guess slightly above tome gear or if that wasnt possible then at least give the gear more materia slots or make it so the player can customize the attributes to how they want them, sorta like making a special order from the tribes and representing them in battle.

I think this would be a cool way to add another level of gear for players that would use things already in the game and also add a sort of ownership since youd be helping old characters help you
