Quick thought: Teleporting to FC Company fee -> go to FC bank

Just something I've pondered about today,

Since it costs gil to port to an FC house.
Why not make it so that gil goes to the FC bank itself?

Just a thought.

Because teleporting is meant to remove gil from the game.

I know that but I always thought it was kind of odd that teleporting to your personal house or fc house costs something was odd.

Gameplaywise the gil needs to be removed from the game.

Lorewise you're paying a fee because you're using the aethryte-net - I'm paying the train-company aswell when I'm taking a train to my house after all!

Dramawise I dont think automatic deposits into the FCs gil-bank is a just a bad idea in general, seeing how the FC-leader can cut everyone of from that pool and just take the gil for themself. If someone wants to donate gil and is aware that anyone who has access to the money can in theory use that for themself, thats okay. But any thing that could turn an FC into a profit for the leader should be avoided.
If an FC wants an "income" they can have one by selling goods they bought with FC-credits (THATS the real FC-income that everyone is contributing to after all) or that the vessels brought back - or whatever the members put into the chest out of free will.

Good Point!

FC chest gil doesn't really have a use for anything though. You're pretty much just giving gil to your FC leader who could just up and leave with it all at any time.

That's like saying the FC chest has no use because the leader could kick everyone out and use it him/herself. Like the chest, it has a use if the FC puts it to use.

why would have to pay to use something you own. That makes zero since. It be like every time used your mount they charged you to use it. Think teleporting fees is really dumb and should be done away with. New players starting out don't have much in gil and to teleport to fc house in shirogane would cost them way to much.
