Shadowbringer XP Earring not working on HoH XP?

Is it me, or is the new pre-order XP earring not working on HoH end-of-dungeon XP?

HoH XP only has armory bonus applied to it, nothing else. The earring boosts in-combat XP only, just as the FC action and food affect it as well.

I dont know why it would? does rested XP work in PotD/HoH either?

HoH and PoTD have completely separate EXP gains and leveling systems, so no bonuses to gear count...since the gear you use is replaced with aether armor upon entering.

To be fair, the description says "Increase EXP earned by 30% when level 70 and below." Should have said combat EXP so there was less confusion, but I had already figured it was combat exp to begin with because we're not getting that easy of a pass with the earrings.

Doesn't it also increase crafting/gather exp?

You're not able to equip it on crafting or gathering jobs only disciples of war/magic.

No.

It explicitly states that it is only usable by DoW/DoM classes.

It probably should specify Combat EXP but ehh... Given that pretty much every other EXP boost is Combat EXP it shouldn't be much of a surprise...

But yeah... Time to farm dungeons until 70 on all combat based jobs! -.-

As a side note: This thing is BiS for BLU if anyone cares... Given it gives a metric ton of primary stat. It's literally like 9x the INT on it than the level 50 earrings from Ishgard >.>
