FFXIV + Twitch Integration

Hello SE / Forums,

While I myself am not a huge streamer, I know friends who are, as well as we see other community personalities utilize Twitch to stream XIV. With the recent Twitch Prime promotion being neat, I thought SE could take things one step further and integrate Twitch into the chat log.

As a visually impaired player who can not easily read a second monitor for gaming, this makes it challenging to interact with potential Twitch viewership. Rather than relying on other overlays or Twitch tools, could XIV simply have Twitch passthrough its chat notifications in game? Connect account and done. Provide it a chat tab, log color text, toggle box, etc., just like other LS or FC chat options. Since Twitch would just forward text code and it automatically already parses out bad HTML / filtering, I don't think it would be too difficult to integrate, however I am not a programmer. It's a cool idea but very limited in appeal. I understand your particular issue with using Twitch's own tools for this kind of thing, but I think most streamers do prefer keeping them separated. For clarity if nothing else.. I can't imagine the spam that would result from having 2000 people in your channel cluttering up your chatbox with memes and emotes. You'd never be able to read party chat again.

Yeah that makes sense. Thanks for the suggestions. But this way I felt you could always put Twitch into a separate chat log channel or separate the logs. It still wouldn't help with seeing it all in realtime unless separated but it's possible. Thanks again for the feedback.
