Mog Station Glam Items.....

I believe all glam gear that is bought off the mog station should either:

1. be placeable into the Armoire chest
or
2. unlocked on the Calamity Salvager to rebuy if needed.

These are items that can only be acquired via real money. If you accidentally toss one out you can't simply go kill a dungeon boss to get it or recraft it.

Before anyone says anything, no I didn't toss any of these items. Just an idea while cleaning storage.

They should also ALL be dye-able, be offered as separates, and be gender neutral.

Woah woah slow down, next you're going to say they should be available in the game! :p

To be more serious though lol, all of these items should be account bound. Character specific is very silly imo (especially in comparison to many other quality AAA mmos out there) and while they gave a reason why (their system isn't up to the task of making it all account bound) it feels a bit predatory (if you want that, you'll need to buy it for each character).

It really baffles me why the items that you are paying extra cash for are treated in this way.

Agreed, they should all be account wide. I mean it's not like it costs SE more to send all of your characters the item. At the very least, throw in an option to pay a couple more bucks for account bound.

Don't care about the gender neutral part, but dyeable and able to store in the armoire should be a must.

I think players should be able to store them in the armoire and repurchase them from the Calamity Salvager.
I also think the items should be dye-able.


All items being account-wide and gender neutral/unrestricted are lower priority for me...
Though the account-wide one kind of makes sense to me... I mean if a $30 dollar mount is account-wide, then why shouldn't an $18 dollar outfit be?

From someone who threw out a large portion of my wedding/journey to the west/dress up y'shtola set because I assumed they would be available at the Salvager, Mog Station sets should definitely be armoire-able because i have 2 sets floating in inv right now and more than i can count in my retainers. This would be a huge relief if they did. Or even if they were buyable at the salvager. Heres hoping they hear our prayers (before all my inv is gone).

Most event stuff can be gotten from the Salvager again, but the issue is you need to have obtained the achievement during the event that the gear is linked to for the option to be available. Obviously it sucks if you miss the event and have no chance to get the gear again, so if SE can find a way around this of not linking gear to achievements then yes they should be available from the Salvager if you purchased them from the MogStation.

Other non event gear such as the Scion items won't be dyable because Yoshi said something like it would take the identity away from the NPC if you could dye their stuff. Though never say never and this might change in the future but I don't see that happening anytime soon if that is SE's general stance.

Although I don't think the Armoire really gets that much attention these days anyway, I think it's more likely the Glamour Dresser will just keep getting updates and for us to be expected to put everything in there... or at least most of the stuff anyway, not that it will ever be enough.
