Problems with item/skill tooltips.

Hello, I want to address a problem I have with the way tooltips are presented in game.

1- They are inconsistent.
They work wonderfully at times, especially when the item or skill who's information you're displaying is not on bottom-right area of the screen. Whenever you go down or to the right however, instead of the tooltip location flipping to top-left of cursor, stays the same, trying to squeeze itself to the screen space it has, blocking off all other items around, if not more UI elements, edit: This even doesn't always happen, perhaps there's something about changing HUD item location messing with it?

2- There is an option for fixed tooltip location, as well as inversed? version of it, but it's only available for actions.

3- An option to disable them whenever we are not in inventory, shop, preview or actions list OR an option for individual hotbars to not display item and/or action tooltips would really help with custom HUDs that include items, are closed to edges of screen.

It's easy to misconstrue this to be the case, but actually, the Position option applies to all tooltips. It's the Position option for the entire "Help" section. The "Display action help" option for the "Help" section just happens to be above it. You can tell that Position applies to all because it's not indented to show that it's a child option of Display action help. In contrast, "Display item help" does have child options, which are indented.

Selecting "Fixed" will apply to both, and you can put them in the same place or separate places, via /hudlayout. So you could put the action help in a place typically occupied by your inventory, but the item help somewhere other than your inventory. Setting "Fixed" will probably take care of most of your issues.

You can also set a modifier key to hide your item tooltips. "Display item help" > "Enable help text toggling". Holding the selected modifier key will hide your item tooltips.

Very weirdly, the fixed location and next to cursor location of my item tooltips were almost identical for where I set up my hotbar including items.
Yes, having at least a known location where all the tooltips will appear solves my biggest problem almost entirely, they don't block other items anymore.
The points one and three however, I don't know if many other people came across this or think it could use improvement.

Three could be circumvented somewhat if you made macros for the skills and used /micon to show the skill icon. However apart from being bloaty it would entail all the reasons you shouldn't use macros for battle skills for. However if they were skills you use on occasion and/or wont harm your aystyle with posdible tiny delay, this might alleviate your situation a bit.
