Remove limitation on Blu

Please remove the limitation on Blu it's not necessary anymore. The solo aspect failed it's extremely weak and the job can't solo anything. On top of that you need group to even learn spells nothing about blu is solo other than carnival. I think it should just be balanced and limitation removed. Keep the spell learning and make it so in order to do duty finder you need X amount of skills or whatever. Problem solved.

The notion of soloing was in the context of solo content -- Masked Carnivale. There was never any intention of making BLU able to solo anything else other than that, the community misinterpreted the interview, or it wasn't made clear enough.

Masked Carnivale is the reason Blue is a Solo Job besides that it's a Normal Job except limited. Or as anyone on the servers say Go play a real Job.

I actually did a Sync'd Ifrit Normal run a couple days back for the sake of it (I'm already 49/49) and it was the most fun I had with the Job so far. Even having access to more spells than the other party members at Lv22 didn't make me broken. I ran a semi-DoT build that actually gave me an idea.

What if they adjusted BLU slightly to be a Support DPS that focused on DoT application and then consuming DoTs to apply various effects on the party? Like you could consume DoTs/Debuffs to apply Mighty Guard on the party, the more debuffs you consume the longer it lasts/stronger it is. Do the same with White Wind, make it consume Debuffs and the more it consumes the bigger the heal to all players around the BLU. You would, of course, have offensive options that did enough damage to justify consuming all your debuffs on a target, perhaps a spell that was itself a DoT that had a higher potency the more debuffs it consumed. So the goal of the main rotation would be applying as many debuffs as you can, then consuming them to apply a single, even stronger DoT, then getting your Debuffs back up.

No, the notion was in relation to Blue Mage as a whole.

I mean, at best you can maybe narrow it down to specifically learning spells. But then you're still at odds given the number of spells that REQUIRE party play in order to obtain.

Masked Carnivale and Learning Spells were mentioned specifically, as being solo content. The former is, but is predicated on learning a spell that can only be found in group content (Glower) the latter most certainly is not as there are about half the skills locked behind group content.

Everything else BLU... Well there isn't anything else about BLU. They're literally just learning Spells and Masked Carnivale. Both require party play in order to access/complete.
