Quest: Trouble on the Road

This is a straightforward small side-quest:

• You approach a purple circle (hazard zone?).
• A "balloon" mob spawns.
• Once killed the circle vanishes and the quest updates to the next step.
• The related NPC, who is outside of the circle gets a quest icon.
• Double-click, return to giver and all is good.

I've done this quest many times in the past. However, while doing it yesterday I noticed an oddity. If you tab or click in the center of the circle (where a puddle of purple light is) an object appears with no title. I.e. a white line with no text on top. It acts as if the circle itself is an object or there was expected to be a resource within.

I'm terrible at explaining this stuff. To reproduce:

1. Accept "Trouble on the Road" from Aeluuin at Fallgoard Float.
2. Move to the quest location, indicated by an orange circle on the map.
3. Prior to entering the purple circle click within it.
   - A white bar line will come up with no text above it.
   - It is as if there is an invisible object or the circle itself is treated as an object.

This may very well be working as intended or just a "style thing" with how it was done (I hope that's the case!). Perhaps as the NPC is actually outside of the circle and a separate step after defeating the mob, it needs to be there. Maybe someone moved the NPC out of the circle and forgot to clean up. I won't pretend to have a clue!

Anyway, I figured I'd report it. I'm sorry I don't have screenshots though it should be reproducable with ease.
