I hope Dancer will get a dancing mini game

Just like the Bards with their music, what about a rythmic mini game like those dancing video games ? Should be fun !

They definitely aren't scared of trying new things. I wouldn't be surprised if Dancer got something interesting. I'm really excited by the idea of their LB3. If it forces everyone to dance instead of cheer I would be all but too happy.

I generally do not like those sorts of things but have wanted Dancer in FFXIV forever, i just hope to god if it is added it will not go the route of Blu Mage, lol
But i truly hope they do the job justice.

Honestly I don't think I've ever played any final fantasy game with the dancer class in it so I know next to nothing about them. But I think with perform and maybe a dance action, Scholars should get the 'lecture' action.

That's definitely in the realm of possibilities, however it's much more ressource intensive to develop movement animation than uploading sound file.
But who knows

I jest. But it would be cool if Dancers could have a DDR mini-game xD

Even better if Bards and Dancers could party up and put on performances where Dancers have to dance along to the music played by Bards.

However, I feel that with the amount of work they'd have to put in on doing all the animations, they'd probably just stick it in the Gold Saucer...

It could be fun if they did, although... "everyone can dance" you might as well just make that a mini-game for everyone rather than just Dancer.

More than anything, it's agonizing right now that Dancer is still just speculation. Very anticipated speculation mind you... the kind that if SQE were to reveal that the next class was not in-fact Dancer they'd have an outcry of rage and disappointment that hasn't been seen since the 1.0 era... but still speculation...

Yes but dancers should be better at dancing than anyone else, it could be more acrobatic, imagine your characters doing a break dance mini game ahah should be fun to see, but I know it would be hard work to implement this in the game, and you are right, we still don't know if Dancer is legit or not which makes me sad, I hope it will be announced or at least teased during the French fan fest !

Well, the leak states that Dancer is a healer, I don't see a healing job to be a restricted job à la Blue Mage. But who knows, Square can change everything until it's announced (which I hope is soon because I just can't stand the wait anymore, it's excruciating)
