So as a red mage you want to make sure that you balance your whire and black mana then when it reaches 80 use your advance rapier attacks and later you’ll unlock verholy and verflare to finish off the rapier attacks and make sure that when you unlock verraise and vercure that if the healer can’t raise your teammates best of luck to youí ½í¸€
Slow spells: Veraero, Verthunder
Fast spells: Jolt, Verstone, Verfire
Your slow spells do the most damage, but take two GCDs to cast. You want to use them, because they do lots of damage, but you don't want to sit through the 5.0s cast time. So you take advantage of the Dualcast trait. Every time you slow cast a spell, your next spell is instant. Instead of taking 5.0s to cast a slow spell for 310 potency, start with Jolt (2.5s) and then immediately follow with Veraero/Verthunder. Mind you, the second spell still triggers a normal 2.5s GCD, so in total you're still taking two 2.5s GCDs. Only now, you're getting two spells out, instead of just one, and doing 490 potency in that same 5.0s. Later, Veraero/Verthunder will proc Verstone/Verfire Ready. When one of these is available, cast it instead of Jolt--it will take the same amount of time but do more potency.
So at the most basic level, you start with (Jolt/Verstone/Verfire) and follow with (Veraero/Verthunder). Make sure to press the button for the second spell before the first spell finishes, so it casts immediately.
The only time you should ever slow cast Veraero/Verthunder is before a fight starts, if you know the tank isn't pulling for another 3-5s. In this case, you can slowcast one so that it finishes just as the fight begins, and Dualcast another slow spell for a big start.
thank you very much for your advice Terrell00
