Job Quests

It's a little late now, but it just popped in my head. If jobs are unlocked at level 30, that means they are not going to be very difficult to unlock, unless they are level capped. I am now disappointed. Wonder if they could ninja edit the level cap!(unless they are already planning that)

i dont think they will, because jobs are available at level 30 so they should be easier for a 50 but harder for a lvl 30

They might give some hard quest when getting the gear and skills, but i wouldnt expect much.

Not only are the jobs unlocked at level 30, but there is a good chance the gear is only level 30-40 as well.

So it's probably useless at level 50.

i was kind of curious about this. i have the opinion that you will do the 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 and get an ability each and you will have to complete all of the job quests to enter one of the 2 new dungeons. the gear for the jobs will likely come from there.

it's the most likely way to make the job gear rank 50 is to make you get the quests done before you get any of the job gear.

Prrrrretty sure they've said that the gear is quested.

I seriously doubt the gear will be low lvl. They will probably use the first few quests to give abilities with the gear at the end of the quest lines

Hopefully the instances give gear sets we havnt seen yet for classes.

I think skills are learned evey 5 levels. 30 35 40 45 and 50. (we all get 5 new abilities per release notes from action updates)

I have a feeling AF will be every 2 levels starting at 42, 44 46 48 50 (hands feet legs body head , or what ever order)
AF is said to be worn on the job only, So i think the armor will agument our abilites in some way over giving us straight stat increases. AF will be "end game" gear but only wearable when playing as the job. Which is supposed to be used while in party play. It won't make sence to make AF mid game, it take the iconic nature compeltely away from the jobs by doing that.

Well, it would be cool if you had to solo the job quests/af to show your worth. Neither should be an easy task.

From what I've read, the gear will come with every job quest, one every 5 levels. As will abilities. Unlocking the job at level 30 will give you one ability. The next will allow you to have 2. And so on. Just unlocking the job doesn't do much. Keep in mind, the last two will be at level 45 and 50. Those are the ones I expect to be hard.

Is there any info that says we will be a lvl 50 WHM or whatever when we equip the "job stones"? I was think one would be a lvl 50 CNJ equip a WHM "job stone" and start lvling a lvl 1 WHM.
