Toggle Object Permance

Now, that we have an official way to make lofts, can the furniture menu get a toggle that turns object permanence on and off? If you're standing on an item to place another item, you fall through the item as soon as you place, so if you want to put a bunch of stuff on a loft, you have to run up the stairs, turn on furnishings menu, place one item, fall back down, get out of furnishings menu, run back up the stairs, place the next thing, fall back down, repeat.

I can see why in some situations you would want to be able to walk through furniture but in many others, not being able to stand on furniture is really inconvenient. It would be nice to have a check mark that lets us toggle this on and off.

Oh also, is there a way to keep the camera in regular mode while in furniture mode? When I'm designing a small space, the camera always jumps into Nirvana and I get sick from all the motion
