Voice audio in cutscenes

So i got to teh first cutscene of this patch and all the audio is broken

Have you tried checking your sound settings from Windows and making sure you've got the correct speaker configuration enabled?

Control Panel -> Sound -> Find your device from the Playback tab -> Right click, select Configure Speakers -> Select the correct speaker configuration, test and finish the setup wizard

This fixed the same issue on Windows 10 (1809) for me.

Same exact issue with me, happening from today only, ever. No settings had been changed and it happened mid-game.

Voices are muffled and echoed. I don't get it. Tried re-playing old cut-scenes. Same issue.

UPDATE: FIX?

Okay, bumping for you so you can see this. I was able to resolve the issue by uninstalling the Skype windows 10 preview on my PC. Suddenly, voices were back to normal. IDK WHY this had to do with anything but let me know if it works for you!

I'm not sure the exact issue you are having. I'm only seeing a black screen in the video with some sound effects. Can you elaborate on the problem?

in the video if you listen closely its the start of the last cutscene of 4.0 with zenos laughing its just muffeld

I am having the same issues. The voices are not being played correctly. The music and sound effects in the cutscenes are playing normally, but the voices are ridiculously soft and echoed. I can only barely hear them.

I have gone through and checked all my sounds settings for my computer and the game, and nothing has changed.

I am also having the same problem. The voices sound like I am listening to them from in a cave while underwater. I tried uninstalling all skype things and this has not fixed the issue. I really wanted to do all the new stuff, but I want the experience to be worth it. Bleh.

I am having this exact issue, sound in cutscene is perfect effects, and music, but the voices all sound distant and echoing
