Patch 4.5: What actually comes out Tuesday?

Considering they continue with the brilliant idea of spreading content out over 4 months, anyone know what is actually being released Tuesday? 2 hours of storyline, a few new recipes, a trial and the last part of Ivalice? Couldn’t find any actual confirmation. I was told BLU is held a week, and Hydratos is March....Thanks in advance.

From what I can recall, the first half of the 4.5(x) storyline, the final part of the Ivalice raids, Pagos nerfs, snake guy trial fight, two new gold saucer games, several new recipes for crafting, most likely ability to turn in some more gear for gc seals, fox lady mount, one hairstyle for each gender, 4 man dungeon, new custom delivery npc.

That's all i can think of right now.

Things pulled:

BLU (1 week)
Hydratos, new rival wings map, pagos nerf (4.55)
more storyline, hildibrand, beast tribe epilogue (4.56/part two - late march)
the server changes (4.57)

Some of the cosmetics are probably being held until 4.55+ with Hydratos and the new pvp map so I wouldn't expect to get all of them in 2 days.

There's supposed to be a final patch (4.58) which they haven't really talked about. There's two fanfests before then so maybe they'll talk about it then or it might just be a wrap up/nerf patch.

Here is a quick timeline of the 4.5x content cycle;

- Main Scenario Quests Part 1
- 4-man dungeon: The Ghimlyt Dark
- The Four Lords (conclusion)
- 8-man trial: Seiryu in The Wreath of Snakes/The Wreath of Snakes (Extreme)
- Return to Ivalice (conclusion)
- 24-man alliance raid: The Orbonne Monastery
- Gold Saucer Updates; Doman Mahjong; GATE: Air Force One
- New Custom Deliveries Client: Adkiragh
- New crafting recipes
- Job adjustments for WHM, MNK and MCH
- Rival Wings PvP mode update
- Adjustments to Eureka Pagos (nerfs, will apparently be ongoing till/after release of Hydatos)

Special Interim Patch (4.51?) (1 week later - 15th January)
- Blue Mage release (Starting at Level 1, currently capping at Level 50)
- Masked Carnival

Patch 4.55 (1 month after 4.5 - either 5th or 12th of February)
- Eureka conclusion: Eureka Hydatos
- New Rival Wings map: Hidden Gorge

Patch 4.56 (Late March - apparently after Japan Fanfest so 26th March)
- Main Scenario Quests Part 2
- Even Further Hildibrand Adventures (conclusion)
- Stormblood Allied Beast Tribe Quests

Between 4.56 and 4.57 (Date Unknown)
- Addition of Crystal and Light Datacentres to NA and EU regions respectively
- World reshuffling (NA and EU only)

Patch 4.57 (Date Unknown)
- World Visit System implemented

Patch 4.58 (Date Unknown)
- ???

Sometime between now and 5.0 (Date/s Unknown)
- FFXV crossover event
- Loot Unlock for Omega Alphascape (probably in 4.5, but who knows)
- Loot Unlock for Omega Alphascape (Savage) (one of the last changes they usually make)
- ?Additon of NA fanfest fight against Yojimbo(most likely with 4.56 if it is)
- ?Loot Unlock for The Orbonne Monastery (Not sure if it will happen near the end of the expansion or when 5.0 hits)

I thought World Visit was in this upcoming patch. Darn.

Don't forget the bandaid fixes for MCH and WHM.

But what exactly they'll do with WHM?

If I recall correctly they said it would be just a number adjustment, but the problems with the job lies with the useless lilies and plenary indulgence mechanics. The amount of healing is doing great, heck it's even a bit useless when your static is experienced with the content...

unless they plan to buff WHM's dps spells to make up for the bad job mechanics and the lack of utility...

I appreciate the staggered release. Especially with both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil 2 Remake due out towards the end of the month.

As far as I am aware, they stated it would be purely numbers buffing for all the jobs they mentioned. Total reworks would only be made for 5.0

Are we getting any new DoH gear sets or are we done with those until next expansion?
