GC transfer

So I’m not exactly new but I want to know what I lose when I transfer GC.

I think it's just access to gear that's specific to that GC, so you could still own something from Mael for example but wouldn't be able to equipment it or use for Glamour if you switched to Adders. Otherwise your rank and seals will stay as they are with the GC you left so you can always go back to how it was, pending some days restriction I believe.

what about my squadron do they stay with the GC or they come with me everywhere?

I can certainly confirm that your squadron will indeed stay with you (including their attained levels)... I've reached Captain level in two of the GCs and thus, know this for a fact.

Keep in mind though that when you change, your seals do not leave with you and your rank will revert to the lowest rank, (Private Third Class). Also keep in mind that you will not be able to use your squadron immediately when you change GCs because you will not have access to the barracks room again until you rank back up.

Yes, you will get your rank and seals back when you return to your old GC.

Well thanks for the help guys, im off to switch to the flames cause I like some of the clothes they have lol

Also note that I think the first transfer is free but any others you have to wait a certain amount of days and there's a fee of some kind? It's been a while since I've done any GC switching.

The fee is 50k gil
