Simplifying Item Synthesis.

While I think I may have made this request before, I'm going to make it again because I really think it would take some of the tediousness out of crafting and just make it more fun. I love crafting and have a total of 9 retainers which in turn has turned me into quite the hoarder of various crafting materials. The problem is my retainers are all filled up and though they are pretty well organized as far as mats go, it would help if I was able to see as well as have instant access to those crafting materials because I'd like to continue gathering the newer stuff in the game but I have no room. So I'll go through the various crafting logs seeing what I have in my inventory that I can instantly make just so I can put it up on the marketboard and get rid of older mats. I do that a lot. Sometimes I'll completely swap out my inventory for my retainers and then scroll through the log that way and make things. However, if when I went into the crafting menu it showed me the ingredients that not only myself but my retainer possessed all at once and then just took the ingredients straight from my retainers as well as my inventory it would totally open up a world of possibilities as I'd be able to see all at once all that I have as well as all that I can make. Please Please make this happen... If you need an excuse I could say I honestly think more people would buy additional retainers if they were able to access them all at once. Keep in mind... I'm not asking for access to the retainers for everything... just in regards to crafting. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi... your my only hope... :,(

Crafting with ingredients on the retainers would be difficult, as that involves accessing/removing items from multiple retainers at once, but at least seeing what's there should be possible. It's not the full request, but enough to be helpful at least. Essentially, when you go to a recipe in the crafting log, do a behind-the-scenes search for each of the ingredients, and just below or beside where it tells us how many we have on hand, tell us how many we have total.

It could be limited to a local search, without taking up the server's time. At least since patch 4.35, when the Item Search List window was added, we know the information about what our retainers have is stored locally on our client machines once we've accessed the retainers at least once during the current session. So long as it's view-only information, this behind-the-scenes lookup by the crafting log could be limited to that local copy of the data.
