Unable to add actions to extended crossbars.

Can't seem to figure this out. I'm 99% sure everything is checked off in the options to enable the extended crossbars, but for some reason when I go into actions and hit x (place actions button) and pres L2 & R2, nothing happens. Odd thing is when not in the place actions area and I press and hold L2 & R2 the empty cross bar pops up. Any help is appreciated.



Edit- Just realized the extended crossbar is not a separate one but shows one of the other crossbars. Problem solved.
