Adding a Mob Kill Counter to Eureka

Hi,

I have been playing Eureka instance since they were introduced... And I have found the dilemma that its a bit hard to count the kills in Pyros while I am killing to spawn a Notorious Monster Fate. Especially since if they are below me in levels the chain won't register it.

Since this game does not allow addons, I thought I would ask the developers... For me, it is important to know how many I killed to spawn any Notorious Monster Fate within Eureka.

We don't even know for sure if the NM spawns are based upon a raw kill count, that's just player theory at this point.

Seems to be pretty accurate though having spent a good bit of time in Pagos and Pyros. 30+ kills opens the window, then the rest is up to RNG. There is also a theory as to whether NMs get put into a queue of some sort, but I personally think it's just random being random. I've seen NMs spawn in near rapid succession after being prepped. I have also seen them prepped and seemingly never spawn.

It's kill 30 mobs and it's marked as prep. Every 11 minutes (or so) and upon completion of bunny fates, it spins the roulette of all the NMs and if it lands on one that is prepped it will spawn. Yes, it's a "theory", but it's got a ton of evidence behind it from people who spend far more time in Eureka than 99% of players.

See, this falls flat on its face imo because I've seen not one, but two NMs pop while both rabbit fates are up before.

I don't think they would do this even if it was 100% certain that killing mobs spawned things. The devs seem to be going pretty hard on mystery spawn conditions with Eureka and adding anything to track that would ruin the "mystery" they envisioned.

Pyros appears to have two NM slots so you will get double spawns. Pagos appears to have one.

Questions to ask : Was it a weather/night based NM? If a weather/night based NM is prepped and the roulette lands on it while weather/night conditions are not met, then it will often immediately spawn next time the weather/night is appropriate - this is why it's better to prep BEFORE weather not during. It also seems like Snow Queen will pop with other NMs. There have also been false reports of two NMs, Ash Dragon/Asag, up at the same time with no proof (trying to debunk the roulette theory) when those in the Eureka discord (including myself) have been in there for hundreds of hours and have never ever seen two NMs up in Pagos at the same time if one isn't Snow Queen.

(again, this is all theory but it's theories from people who spend far more time in Eureka than you and I do, I promise)

The idea is to count mobs killed. So I can measure it better. It is hard enough that I have to watch my rotation, consider my surroundings and also count how many mobs I killed to keep a record of what I should go back and kill more of.

Besides, afking in town to worship the aetheryte seem to be the next big thing.

So I feel that I can ask for a kill counter to make my life a little easier.

That's actually the best spot to sacrifice Lalas to make NM spawn. It always worked for me, at least.

Most NMs are considered prepped with 30 mobs. The only one that seems to require more (from my experience) is Copycat Cassie, where she tends to have a higher rate of spawn if you kill 30 morbols on each side of her arena. But, of course, she's also a royal pain in the arse, so it could be coicidence, but the players in the discord I'm in dedicated to figuring out her spawn conditions have consistent results with the 30 on each side method.
