So I've noticed I'm taking the same amount of damage while I'm wearing my mythril armor, cobalt armor, and pimped out +1 cobalt armor with Materia. My gear seems broken to me. Shouldn't I be taking less damage while wearing better gear?

define better gear
if its a difference between 500 armor and 502 armor you may not see a difference
post the stats you have with both sets and a better comparison can be made
