To make this post achieve its desired goal, which obviously is to recruit specific people that would benefit being part of our FC as much as we would benefit from having them, is to be plain, almost blunt about everything we are and want.
We are a new casual, adult (18+) FC. Based in the UK we want English speaking individuals (So long as you can speak and understand English we don’t mind where you’re from).
Casual to us is more about content you play and how you play it, rather than how long you are online and on how many days (you could be online 12 hours a day but only play basic content in that time). Our main aim is progression and fun. We like to aim for better gear for our characters and to enjoy the content. Savage raiding and Extreme trials may be something we might try if people wanted to but it’s not the top priority by a long shot.
The idea for Filthy Casuals is to be a home for like minded individuals that can play together in an environment where no one should be worried about being shouted at for not getting through a mechanic properly and all that other BS. We will kick people if they are causing problems or have an over the top ego.
If you are a person that gets along with most you will fit in very nicely, however if you are too easily offended then don’t bother with us as we just won’t deal with trivial matters i.e.. Name calling etc... (if there are real problems like sexual harassment, racism and the like with evidence then we will intervene, and the culprit will be kicked there and then)
A point I would like to make is that we want our members to be and feel as if they are just as in control with organizing content as myself or co-founder Oisty te.
E.g. If Oisty or myself are on or offline still communicate and interact with your fellow FC mates to organize content (We are mostly there to keep the FC running smoothly and to just enjoy the game).
We use Discord for organizing various things and as a form of communication via voice chat. It will be required that you can at least view and listen to chats, like if we are doing a raid but you do not have to speak if you do not want to (you can use your smart phone so its quite accessible).
We are old school about recruitment, so we use application forms via our website. The reason is simple we want people to stay with us for as long as possible and we find if someone will take time out to go a little further to join us then it is more likely they will stick around.
So about roles, classes and leveling. We don’t really mind so long as your trying to progress through, it don’t matter to us, just note that if we have a major influx of say DPS then forming parties will be difficult.
