Couldn't "Patch" now After Uninstalling, I can't Reinstall

So Basicly my friend was kind enough to get me the full version of Final Fantasy. I got back home, wanted to log in, told me about Patch Errors. I tried different things that the internet told me, including disabling my Antivirus and Firewall, but nothing helped, so i decided to reinstall it;
Now Uninstalling, seemed to work fine, all Final Fantasy Based files are gone, but reinstalling it, boy i tell ya...
I downloaded the Installer from the page, and clicked on it, which followed by the language choice. I clicked OK, it loaded for a split second, then gave me the same option again. Always Asking me about the language. I can't go on, i can't install it at all. Currently i'M defragging my PC seeing if thatl help, I've restarted it a couple times... I have a free subscription from my friend's kindness and now I can't even play. COuld someone help me? ^^

This sounds like the installer may have been corrupted in the initial download. Have you tried redownloading the installer? If you continue to get this problem, try using a different browser and disable your anti-virus for that download. I'd also recommend performing a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the installer.
