How I'm interpreting BLU

So before I get into this I just want to say I originally got the BLU info from a friend but have read up on it a bit.

From the way BLU was explained to me it mainly sounds like its just a time filler, kinda like Gold Saucer or POTD, HOH just with less incentive. To me it just kind of sounds like Square is either running out of ideas and they just were like "Hey people want blue mage so let's give them blue mage." either that or their waiting until the expansion to release a lot of new content, like expanding the Saucer. Personally I very much hope it's the latter.

Well maybe there's your problem: how it was explained to you. If I was explaining BLU to you in a truly excited and hyped fashion, chances are that we wouldn't be having this thread.

No matter how hype you explain BLU, the moment you mention how much content it can't do will either make or break their interest and hype in it.

As long as it's not 20/30 levels behind current content forever, I'll appreciate a break from just doing the same rotation in solo duties and overworld stuff that I do in dungeons, trials, and raids. Bring on the new job.
