[Behemoth] Tell Me About Your FC!

New player here, but I have played a good amount of WoW. I want to find an FC community to join, but as with any MMO RPGs there are so many to choose from and not a great way to find one that fits. So I made a list of questions that I'd really appreciate any willing FC's to answer on this forum, and even if we aren't a good match, hopefully your answers will help players find you who are? One could hope.

Questions:

:D What is your general goal for how you want your FC community to function? (End game content? Casual community fun? etc)
:D How are your ranks structured and why?
:D What is your main FC communication platform? (In-game FC chat? Discord? Vent? etc)
:D How do you and your officers deal with conflict? Both in an ideal situation and a not so fun situation? Two examples follow:

I've encountered several FC's and I'm more of a partner FC that has helped people establish a FC or use mind to explore options that they can encounter. Personally I have had my share of both positive and negative FC's so Based on your questions andmy answers is best to understand that most FC change based on influence by players or negativity by others. For me I decided to become a one man FC and just join as a partner and help other FC's. However these are the rules that I had used in the past and currently in other games I also play which I found very positive results.

General function is achievements and having fun. Regardless we schedule old content and offer rewards for participation to assist which are given based on FC funds by leader. ( Myself ) Based on contributions I give monthly allowance based on rank and profits. Mostly gill being it's very easy to make

How are your ranks structured and why?

Participation and Attendance. The more we can accomplish the more fun we can have. One of the biggest problems I have when joining a FC is the lack of structure and promises when joining. We all understand that RL takes priority however just like a business if you have no trust you have no clients.

What is your main FC communication platform? (In-game FC chat? Discord? Vent? etc)

I try to use In-game, Discord, and Vent as leader. Depending on event and member resources I make it flexible. I can multi platform.

How do you and your officers deal with conflict? Both in an ideal situation and a not so fun situation? Two examples follow:

Ideally is to set expectations from the beginning...0 drama. As leader I will only interfere if a member escalates. However I trust my officers and keep an open mind. I make so that my FC room is a private office only accessible with in that time. in a fun way think of it as RP. In some cases I will have 2 other members to take the role of Logikós and Esmotion ( logic & emotion ) Where after hearing they will pass judgement based on case.

Open door policy all the way if they question they are welcome to bring it up to leader at any point.

What actions does your FC usually keep up and running?

New content will take priority for the first month. Afterwards schedule events. Officers are required to assist. IF any members decline assistance for any reason other than RL or fail to assist within 7 days they will be placed on probation for 30 days. Any failure to assist members new / old is not allowed. We help each other and make it clear that we want to help and accomplish goals. Even in failure we want to make sure we don't turn our backs on anyone. As a result however many players have shown that the only thing that is worth is their own advancement which is the biggest problem with FC's. Member retention. Hence I have decided to solo for a while. Most members quit however are always welcome back if they leave in good terms.
