Hotbars reset.

I know it's not an unfamiliar issue but I've tried a lot of stuff. Basically, I made a brand new character, copied all the .dat files to to its folder and everything's good except every time I login the hotbars are set as default (skills in learning order, Return and Teleport on the right, every other hotbar empty). The thing is it's even happening on the character I copied it from, which is frankly annoying. I used the backup function, I copied and pasted the hotbar.dat over and over, deleted the character folder, let the system create a new one and pasting the .dat files there... And nothing works. Everytime I uncheck the "Read only" from the folder it automatically checks up next time.

Anything I can do other than reinstalling and praying?

I'm having some trouble understanding what you are trying to do. You created a new character and you are trying to move the saved hotbars from an older character? If so, the hotbars are character-specific so you wouldn't be able to transfer them like that. The easiest thing to do now would probably be to redo the hotbars for both characters from scratch.
