Having played the game since beta and experienced much of the old content as new is added, here are just a few questions I would LOVE to get answers on from the new development team. I realize that most if not all of these questions may go unanswered as I know that the team is hard at work on the new format, but ANYTHING as far as a response goes would be welcome. If it's not meant to be, let me just thank those of you that moderate these forums for at least reading them and considering any responses you may be able to give.
Quest questions:
1) As level caps are increased and the "Main" story developed by the old team shifts to the story being worked on by the new team, will we continue to follow the story revolving around the players use of the echo, or will this line be forgotten in favor of the GC story lines?
2) Will we see story driven missions in the future that contain more actual cut-scenes like those used in the older main story line (the final main story quest comes to mind) instead of generic cut-scenes that are used for the smaller quests?
Guild and Task Board questions:
1) Will side quests specifically related to the combat and crafting guilds continue to be developed, and if so, what will rewards for such quests be now that you have done away with guild points?
2) When will we finally see an increase in guild task quests for each guild?
3) Will we eventually see guild tasks ever created for the combat guilds? (for instance, a level 10 guild task for pug for the day could be to go kill 20 giant crabs or something)
Notorious Monster Questions:
1) Will the system that was originally developed for the Leve NM's (that granted "good" gear sets) continue to be developed or is that gone for good?
2) Will the task boards ever be used to post daily Bounties on NM's like those used in FFXII?
3) Will we be seeing more NM groups like the goblin and sheep group nm's that are currently in the game?
Crafting and Gathering
1) Will artifact armor ever be developed for the crafting and gathering classes and if so, will it be quested?
2) Is anything other than the Hamlet defense system planned that would incorporate the use of DoW, DoL, and DoH classes together?
Economy, Retainers, and Companions
1) What, if anything, do you all plan to do about the billions of gil that are currently spread about the community? I am not asking about a player wipe or anything, I am just genuinely curious if tha presents a problem to you all when trying to develop new crafting and economy related content
2) Will we ever get a chance to use our retainers for anything besides storing and selling goods? For instance, using my retainer to garden for my home while I am away once housing is implimented.
3) Are there any plans to revamp the player companion? (The one we have now sucks and is pretty useless)
I realize that some people may not care about EVERY question on this list, therefor I ask that if a reader feels strongly about wanting a particular question answered, quote just that question and repost it under the OP so that others can give it a thumbs up in hopes of getting moderator attention. Thanks again for taking the time to read these. I tried to only ask questions I haven't seen anyone else ask yet, so if I am repeating some major question that has been asked a thousand times, post me the link and I can remove it from this list.

Good questions!
The only questions I know the answers to are:
Quests
1) They've said the main scenario quests are on hold until 2.0 is out, but they will continue them. Since the latest GC quests have dealt with the impending Seventh Umbral Era and/or 2.0 changes, they will likely continue to develop with each patch.
Crafting and Gathering
1) They have mentioned that they have something in mind for artifact gear for DoH/DoL... whatever that means. -

It will be interesting to see how they deal with the gap in time from when the original main story quests were played (the 1-45 quests) and how they will continue with a new team working on them and almost 2 years having past since there release.Quote:

I like that I can make 3 ingots at a time now instead of just 1, and I find the newer recipes easier to store mats for than the old ones at least.
