Tank Gear Question!
Hi everyone!
I recently decided to take my tanking a bit more seriously and gear up my tank jobs properly for once, but I've run into a bit of a snag. According to a reddit post regarding current BiS for 4.4, WAR prioritize crit and det while PLD and DRK prioritize crit and DH. If I were to build a set focusing on crit and det for my WAR, how much would that impact performance on a PLD/DRK? Likewise, how big of a loss would it be to build for Crit/DH for WAR?
I will mainly use these tanks for dungeons, regular trials and normal alphascape, so no extreme trials or savage content. I know I don't need to worry about optimization in casual content but I want to try and the best gear I can set up to make this content go as smoothly as possible for anyone pugging with me.
Thanks in advance!

WAR have guaranteed crit-direct hit on inner release windows thats why WAR go full crit to boost his burst and ignore DH bcs is pretty useless for him, PLD and DRK dont have anything like that so depend more of DH, the ideal thing is pick one tank and gear it up if you plan to go for savage, if is only for casual content dungeons/NM/24 raid it will dosent matter much if you choose 1 build and go for it, and the crit build will be the most neutral for say i think.

Biggest question is do you actually plan to do savage/ serious end game content. Because if the answer is no then it makes absolutely 0 difference.

Thanks for the replies! Like I stated in my OP, I don't plan to do savage content on a tank role and I'm aware that optimization makes no difference outside of that sort of content, I just wanted to have a better idea about a "universal" type of secondary stat build (primarily for melds). I'll probably stick to crit/dh for now.

If you primarily run WAR you'll want to prioritize crit. Otherwise, DH is fine. Ultimately the crit over DH is a fairly negligible difference for PLD/DRK.
