Question about character deletion

I just started the game, and I ended up having to get a new graphics card to be able to play the game etc etc....

My question that I am asking is: Can you delete a character and remake it?

The reason why I ask is I done the entire little starting area and left the city with really bad lag....(Gameplay and cut scenes lagged terrible and missed most of the cutscenes) and I want to be able (now that I can play lag free) to delete my character.. recreate it with the same name etc, so I can redo the starting area and see all those cut scenes (and the fight) that I completely lagged through and couldnt see.

I have tried to look up to see if I am able to do this and I read stuff like "Its bad to delete a character and recreate on in its old slot" (without an explanation on why its bad). I just want to be able to enjoy the game (From the begining) without messing up my account by deleting the toon.

When you are on the character selection screen, there are two buttons in the lower right hand corner, one is Exit, and the other is Delete, so yes, you can delete your character and start over.

in patch 1.21 there will be a cut scene re-reviewer if that helps

K thanks.... I was about to delete the toon, and in the back of my head, i was like "oh no what if I screw this up by doing this" so I just wanted to ask. Thanks.
