Will this "job" eventually be raised to level cap? Will it always be updated like existing "Jobs" to the next level cap? Or is limited not just for it being capped at 50 for now but instead meaning that eventually it'll stop getting updates like most side content eventually?

Simple answer is that we don't know. The best we can infer is no and that it will stay under the current cap to prevent breaking endgame.

According to what was said during the live letter, yes the level cap will be raised over patches. What we're not sure about is whether it will be all at once when ShadowBringers goes live or over multiple patches. We also don't know if they'll change their stance on the restrictions once it does reach cap. At this point we can only watch and wait. Even though BLU itself goes live once 4.5 hits ( unknown if it'll be 4.5 part 1 or part 2), we still have two more fanfests to go as well as a ton of live letters and promotions to go before the expansion as a whole drops.

No, people saying it will reach cap are ignoring the parts where he said it was not made for end game content and he didn't want it in there. It's most likely that it will always be under the current lvl cap whatever it is.

If BLU was raised all the way to the most recent level cap, then it could enter any endgame duty via a pre-formed party.
Further, if BLU is as gamebreaking as the devs sell it, it would then break all Savage content, which is most commonly done via a preformed party.
Therefore, it is very unlikely they'll ever raise it to the current cap. Most likely, it'll lag behind forever. -

It'll probably never be level cap unless they reverse and make it like every other combat class. I doubt they'll completely abandon it. It should get an update at least every 2 years...
