Road to 60 buff being removed from characters who were created on the specific worlds

Here's a warning for all you players out there who are like my dad who want to create a crafting character okay my dad spent $100 to get through all the content on his character
So he could use the road to 60 to level up all of crafting and Gathering jobs much easier because the game makes him drag it out
my dad goes to work he works offshore stayed gone for 45 days he log back in on his character they give him a return status bonus and completely remove all of his road to 60 bonus and he didn't even complete the main quest storyline that is cold as far as for the development team part
So he filed a complaint to the game Masters and reported the bug how it immediately removes the road to 60 buff they have not responded they refuse to answer so if this happens to y'all please do not count on support from the in-game game Masters to me they need to do away with that returner bonus because it doesn't benefit nothing what-so-ever removing a major buff that actually counted making leveling crafting jobs in other jobs actually easy heaven forbid somebody actually had to go to work so they get punished for working

The Road to 60 buff is not a permanent feature. It is added to worlds with "Preferred" status, but this constantly changes and the status of worlds are updated every day (which can be checked through the Lodestone). The buff wasn't removed because your father was given the Returner status, but most likely because the world he was on changed and was no longer "Preferred", or as stated below, perhaps 30 days had expired. That's essentially what SE will tell you.

Pretty sure the buff lasts for at least 30 days or until the world is no longer preferred. So if the world loses preferred before 30 days you get to keep it until your character is 30 days old, but if your character is more than 30 days old then you lose the buff whenever your world loses preferred status.

It's 90 days. You keep it for as long as the world remains preferred, with a minimum of 90 days.

So if your father went away for 45 days, how much did he play before that? It sounds like he just went over 90 days since the character was created, hence the buff was removed.
