Change Data Center option in Character Select

I don't know how many people often play on alt characters in this game, but I have an alt for RP on the Balmung server. My main character for general raiding and game play is on Cactuar. This usually isn't a problem, as both of these servers are on Aether, but with the new distribution of servers coming in with the new data center, I'll be finidng myself have to completely switch data centers from the main menu.

So, my suggestion is one of the following;

1) Have an option to change the Data Center from the character select screen, to reduce the amount of clicks it would take to change characters on different data centers.

2) Adjust the AI in a way where Data Centers for a specific region are listed, and each is it's own drop down menu of servers.

Of course how the UI is set up would be up to the devs, but this is just to give a general idea of what I mean in option 2.
