Road to 60 gone?

Did the update change something with road to 60? I thought I had it for 90 days and I started playing in September. Is Ultros no longer preferred?

Yes, Ultros is not a preferred world. You can check what world is preferred or not straight from the launcher. It's always the first topic on the left side of it.

Wow really if they're gonna change the preferred worlds in an update you think that's something they should be telling us when they say what's changed in the news. All it says is the update fixed some bugs. That's not right.

You can always find the current list of congested, standard, and preferred worlds listed in Special Notices on the Lodestone. Generally, when specific changes from Preferred to Standard, Standardl to Congested, or Congested to Standard, are made, information can be found there.

They always post a new topic every time specific changes are made. This is the latest one, from November 5.

Edit: After some digging, I came across this notice. As of September 17, Ultros was changed from Preferred to Standard, well before the most recent Hotfix patch.

Best you can do is stay on top of the notices, because they do post them.

In addition to what others have said, Road to 60 doesn't expire simply because the status of the World is changed.

Rather, it has a sixty day timer. You can be on a standard World and still have the timer counting down. I'm not sure, but I think it can also expire while your world is still preferred.
