Blue mage at patch 4.5

I'm not trying it but is anyone here excited? I was delighted by how Yoshida announced it. First he said... "Blue Mage... Will not be in 5.0. IT WILL BE ON 4.5!!!"

Level cap will be 50 for it though.
It will be a hell to balance this, but seems fun as kupo.

I'm more interested what they mean by "limited job" it worries me a little.

Love this! Some people may bristle at the cap, but it's a smart idea. Rather than launch at the expac at level 50, people can level up from 1-50 and then be ready to level more at 5.0. Gives the devs more time to balance the job with real-time feedback, too -- and without breaking higher-level content.

Can I take the instant wipe moves from Primals please? xD

The way it seems to read to me is that by being a "Limited Job" it may be limited to what it can participate in. We've at very least seen Shiva in the video (and learned from her, at that!) so likely up through the 50 cap battles? It might be a balance issue for later content, and that may be why it's separate but... eh?

Possibly related to that last line "Level cap set at 50" ?

I don't get the point of having a job you can't really play outside of its own duty or in anything relevant.

Yeah this would've been murder to balance or even just support if released alongside the expansion. I'm guessing this is basically a glorified beta stage for BLU. Kind of smart of them
