Could a NINJA double weave?

I actually have 45~ ping and I literally CAN'T do any double weave without any GCD time loss with Huton active, of course.

I just wanna know if ninjas MUST do double weave like DRG or RDM for example in order to achieve the required dps.
And I wanna know, if this is possible, if the problem is that I need lower ping, or I'm just bad so I have to practice in the strinking dummy.

NIN is the only class where you'll have to triple weave on occasion, and double weaving is 100% required due to how mudras operate.

You can't avoid it sadly. DRG/MNK/SAM can but it's not easy to avoid it entirely.

You will need double weaves. With ping that low, it shouldn't be an issue unless you have waaaayyyyy too much sks. Or possibly a bit more practice is needed.

Curious how you triple weave without clipping a gcd? Especially with Huton active. I'm a budding NIN, and genuinely curious. Can you provide an example?

By triple weaving he most likely means 2 mudras into 1 ninjutsu.

If your ping allows it then yes you can double weave as ninja, if it doesnt it simply doesnt and you should not do it, it is as simple as that.

Double weaving is needed for any proper ninja rotation, opener has 3 instances of double weaving. doing fuma shurikan is classed as a double weave but if your ping allows it swap the fuma with raiton just never clip gcd unless for suiton/TenChiJin as will always be a bigger dps loss than that gcd

Double weaving I definitely understand. The triple weaving threw me off, but I also had no idea that casting Raiton between gcds is considered a triple weave (though I definitely see why it is with the mudras). I also didn't think to switch to Fuma during lag spikes. I actually really wish that with 3 mudra Jutsu, it would just cast after you enter the third mudra. You're locked in at that point. Lag issues have already had me getting bunnies when I know I entered the mudras correctly.

yea lag is a very big issue with ninja even a small blip can have you register a mudra or not at times and you sometimes have to hope the order you pressed is still true or you get bunnied

good ping usually allows Raiton weaving as an ogcd
bad to ok ping go with fuma ogcd

nothing is worth clipping gcds except TenChiJin and Suiton and even with suiton do a gcd before trick attack or have suiton buff before trick attack comes off cooldown so can weave trick attack as an ogcd.

As for TenChiJin Fuma -> Katon -> Doton is better dps than Fuma -> Raiton -> Suiton unless a boss moves out of the Doton with more than 6s left even on single target
