[dev1022] ideas for new battle system

along with a auto attack feature,(hands free) i think that the battle regime button should put the player into hotkey mode. where you can assign the A,B,X,Y buttons with different actions....maybe add a few more types of melee attacks, make combos possible (which would make pugilist look awesome btw maybe add some kick attacks) maybe attack chain system also, that can also be used and multiplied by mages...maybe adding magic burst bonuses too after TP actions. To toggle out of hot key mode i suggest using the select key on the controller and whatever corresponds to that on the keyboard. maybe also macros could change the scheme selected for said hot keys. also using the movement keys used while doing an attack could change the attack like forward forward x would produce a different attack then just pressing x

honestly after a year no one will even bother to socialize in groups.
and not to be mean but gotta consider the ps3 players.
Auto attack is dull no matter the speed. I rather play the game then watch my character get played by AI

This starting to suck all the reasons I wanna play ffxiv will be change or no longer present. : / kinda not cool.

I like paradigm shifts from FF13, but here they'd just be stupid. Forget I mentioned it. But, no honestly Paradigm System.
