Question regarding Eureka

So I heard that in the new expansion of Eureka they'll be upgrading the relic armor. So in hopes that the style will be different I thought I'd go back and get my whm set.

Problem is Anemos is completely dead. The challenge logs give exp and gil but they don't give crystals.

is there any reliable way to get crystals now that the train is dead?

They will probably implement a system where players have to run older contents in order to progress the current one, just like they always do.

I have been doing anemos to cap Gen. tomes. It gets pretty lively around the afternoon, evening times (est, NA severs). That is to say the instances can get up to 50-100 folks most doing the train.

Seems to be a train when i go for Challenge Log. They even did Pazu the day before yesterday. Hadn't seen full instances like before but I haven't been there in the evenings during prime time.

Welp, only 2 more zones of Eureka to go before it becomes an abandoned wasteland with the expansion. I really feel like the devs aren't planning well enough. Just like FFXI, there's going to be too much content that are just completely undoable, or completely unused 1 year after release. Vast swaths of content are/will be locked out for newer players.

I really don't know what the devs were thinking, putting so much time and resources into Eureka when it's going to be unplayable (unless significantly nerfed) once this expansion ends. Even now players are finding it easier to level to 25 in Anemos and that is while this content is current! What hope for players who started late or who might want to get their Dyeable AF gear and the SB relic later on?

Anemos was painful for me even when it was current content, and I only managed to get through it thanks to some people helping me along. I was happy to be done with it, and frankly I find the Eureka style of content just horrific. I have no intention of pursuing it any further. Anemos was bad enough. Pagos and Pyros can go die in a fire as far as I'm concerned. After the torture that was Anemos, I didn't set foot in Pagos and nothing has changed my mind about that, which means I'll never set foot in Pyros. It's just not something I ever want to deal with again.

I really hope future xpacs don't do anything like this anymore, at least not for relics. I guess I'll have to turn to youtube to see the end of the Eureka story because I'd rather give myself paper cuts on my unmentionables, and pour salt on them, than engage in anymore Eureka "content".

Try Anemos during peak hours. There is usually a couple full groups running the NM train capping tomestones.

The new gear has changed to role instead of job specific and all but tank/drg look like butt so you maybe better off with just tome gear anyway, esp since it will be upgradable in 4.5
