Hello everyone, I have question regarding subscriptions... Currently I only have PS4 version of the game on my mogstation account that i regulary pay subscription for. Now, I also think of adding PC version of the game to my mogstation account. Question is simple, will I need to pay another subscription for PC version of the game, or is one subscription for entire mogstation account regardless of where i play?
The subscription is for the service account, not for the licensed games. So yes, you only pay one fee even if playing the game on 2 platforms. You do need to buy them for PC tho (incl. all expansions)
You will need to buy the base game for PC in order to log in at all. You will also need to buy Stormblood in order to play HW and SB content on PC. If you buy only the base game, you won't be able to zone into expansion areas or log in if your character logged out in an expansion area.
But after the one time cost of buying the game on another platform, all the platforms use the same one subscription fee.
Yup, only one sub needed. But in addition, when you add new ARR license (aka your PC one), you get extra 30 days for free. As mentioned, you do also need expansions to play expansions content/gain exp.
